Moriaty Are Back Louder and Prouder Than Ever

Moriaty’s brilliant debut album ‘The Devil’s Child’ exploded on the scene six years ago - an album of wall to wall tight, dirty blues and vast amounts of promise.

Subsequent gigs supporting heavy hitters Muse and Seasick Steve confirmed fans’ belief that Jordan West and Matthew Partridge were on their way up. Life, however, had different plans for the Devon rockers with bereavement, births, heartache and, more recently, Covid 19 slowing their upward trajectory. Happily, Moriaty are back, louder and prouder, with a brand new single ‘Shake’, taken from their forthcoming album ‘The Die Is Cast’. ‘Shake’ is everything we could wish for in the wake of a long absence from stage and studio, with trademark in your face driving guitar and power drumming emphasising the politically motivated lyrics.

Jordan says ‘the song just fell out of the sky as he was pondering the fate of the world while the current White House incumbent has his finger on the destruct button’.

Whatever the source ‘Shake’ is a mighty, mouth watering taste of what we can look forward to from ‘The Die Is Cast’.

‘Shake’ is guaranteed to delight old fans and persuade new fans to join the eagerly awaited next phase of the Moriaty journey.

The brilliant video to ‘Shake’ is available now on You Tube -

‘The Die Is Cast’ is released via Zen Ten on Easy Action Records on 23rd October.
