Happy Harmonies of a Perfect Pop Song
The Penzance based Boundless Brothers are back with their upbeat and happy Americana style. Crying Shame carries all the hallmarks of the boys’ previous releases with their perfectly pitched three part harmonies plus a nod to the surf sounds of the 60’s.
Since the band formed in 2014 they have worked relentlessly, with their studio output resulting in 8 singles and 2 EP releases. Their popularity and cheerful disposition led to support slots with top names including The Proclaimers and Toploader, but their packed diary soon fell apart when Covid put an abrupt end to their huge plans for 2020. Undeterred, the boys continued to write and managed to maintain their positive outlook; their happiness shines through on this latest release despite the lyrics being from the perspective of someone who questions why he is constantly played like a fool.
The Boundless Brothers’ have a strong fan base and Crying Shame is the perfect two and a half minute pop song to keep everyone happy until the band can once again return to live performances.
