Another Explosive Track Encouraging Lairy Crowd Surfing

Updated: Jul 6

How To Smile

The Rezner

There is an art to banging out top quality pop songs with a running time of less than three minutes; The Rezner mastered the skill from their early days and the latest single How To Smile confirms their undoubted ability to get in fans’ faces and keep them begging for more.

The attention grabbing opening chords instantly pull us in as we are swept along on a wild explosion of The Rezner’s trademark loud guitars and pounding drums. How To Smile was written during the first lock down in 2020 with the lyrics reflecting on the loss of live performances while anticipating a return to some kind of normality where we could sing, dance and party again. That door to freedom was firmly closed to everyone in 2020, but The Rezner’s constant enthusiasm and positivity shines through on How To Smile making us yearn for gigs and festivals like never before.

This latest offering from the boys has all the ingredients of their live shows - passion, fun, excitement and energy shot through with a hunger to whip fans into a sweaty frenzy of lairy crowd surfing. The Rezner’s star shines bright and continues to propel them to the dizzying height; sadly for Cornish fans this means they have upped sticks and headed off to that there London joining their stable mates The Velvet Hands. Don’t despair, as both bands can be seen live in Cornwall this summer – yes, seriously, live gigs, who’d a thought?

The Rezner will be lighting up Boardmasters in August performing two sets – one on the breathtakingly beautiful View stage (time and day tbc) plus a main stage appearance supporting Gorillaz on Saturday 14th August.

Both bands return to their favourite intimate Cornish stage at Truro’s Old Bakery on 10th September. Sadly, due to the delay of Pandafest 2021 with a date shift to 25th September, The Rezner will not be strutting their stuff on the stage as planned, but The Velvet Hands will be there with all guitars and drums blazing.
